Tone Generator

This tool can be used on your mobile phone, tablet, or computer to locate and understand resonances and locate vibration modes on plates and instruments (modal tuning). You will need to utilise an amplified speaker system for this.

To use this tone generator, press the play button and drag the frequency slider. You can also hold the scan buttons if that is easier on a mobile device.
